About project

Overview

This project delivers a community‑informed scoping review and evidence map that reorganizes public health literature around Indigenous Knowledge Systems, Tribal governance, cultural connectedness, land relationships, and historical and structural conditions. Drawing from sixty sources, the review illustrates how drivers commonly separated across public health domains operate as an interconnected system shaping health and well‑being for American Indian and Alaska Native communities.
